The most important thing to remember when you choose to commission a custom piece is that you know the piece will suit you. Take your time. Most people take a good month or more deciding on specifics before the construction can actually begin.
Some questions to think about when ordering:
What type of item are you interested in?
Who is the item for?
What feeling do you want when you wear or use the item?
How do you want other people to perceive the item?
How is the item to fit:
Snug or loose?
To fit one or to fit most?
